Dr. Patrick’s Message

“And Jesus answered him, ‘The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:29-31 (KJV)

These verses are the greatest commandments according to Jesus. These are the heart of what we are doing in the years since the Lord started Southeast Asian Missions. Our love for GOD is shown in our obedience to the great commission: Matthew 28:18-20 says, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Read more

Be Mine

Jesus Loves You!

The first thing we think about when we say, “Valentines” is, little red hearts, cupids and bows and arrows – Valentine’s Day is focused around love and affection. St. Valentine was martyred for his beliefs in Jesus Christ. Those beliefs surround the fact that God loves us so much He sent His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus loves us so much He gave His life for us: Read more

Repair for Pastor Boaz’s Church

In December we reported to you about the need for repair for Pastor Boaz’s flooded church. Repair work has begun on this small village church to prevent flooding in the future. We ask for continued prayer on this matter and for GOD to not only provide the means to continue the necessary repairs to both the church and Pastor Boaz’s home, but also for Pastor Boaz’s congregation to grow again once repairs are finished. We recently received some additional news about this from Pastor Arul in India. Read more

Special Needs

Sponsorship

Southeast Asian Missions has a very large heart for God, especially His love we share for the nations. This was truly our founder’s heart, too. Dr. Rayner’s heart was unmistakably for God and to reach nations such as India to bring God’s love to some of the remotest places on earth. Dr. Rayner had such a deep and passionate love for not only Christ, but also the people of India. Read more

Miracles

Recently, we were going through an archive of our photos from past trips to India and came across an image that was burned into our minds. SEAM was passing out clothes to the poor in a small village. Note the humble look on the old woman’s face, her stature, the way she is reaching out and touching Mrs. Audrey Travis’s hand with such delicate grace, the look of great compassion on Audrey’s face as she reaches around the other side of the woman, the woman’s very worn and tattered scarf that is thread bare in many places and made of simple cloth.
